PLASZOM ZOMER INDUSTRIA DE PLÁSTICOS LTDA keeps an Emergency Fire Department with the purpose of being always ready to respond to emergency situations such as incipient fire, first-aid assistance to victims, chemical accidents, among other situations that may occur within our company, or even in your personal life, as accidents may occur anywhere and Firefighters are those prepared for these situations.
However, in order to make this project work, company has a group of volunteer, attentive, brave employees committed to the company and co-workers, as the main goal of a Firefighter is to be ready to save lives and company property.
Currently, company has 46 firefighters arranged into three work shifts, who are periodically trained to ensure they are all qualified to provide the required assistance.
With the safety of employees, company facilities and neighborhood in mind, Plaszom Zomer Industria de Plásticos held on April 26, 2016, in the morning period, an evacuation drill with all company employees with the support of Firefighters.
Each detail was planned in order to prevent as many errors as possible and to bring the training closer to reality. All buzzers sounded at 8 a.m., all employees within the company at that time were orderly and safely evacuated until the Rally Point located in the external yard following the instructions of Firefighters of each sector.
Following evacuation of all company employees (approximately 160 people), procedures to check the presence of all employees was initiated in the yard as well as premises sweeping.
In total, training took approximately 10 minutes, involving the whole company, and the result was deemed as great, evacuation of all employees was performed in an orderly, safe and efficient manner, within 5 minutes all 160 employees were removed from the premises and headed to a safe area, SESMT closely monitored the whole training including inside company facilities, and the final assessment is that training was successful and very well conducted.
Plaszom Zomer Ind. de Plásticos Ltda congratulates all Fire Department employees for this work, and emphasize that all these investments in personal and property safety are made having in mind that prevention is the best way.
The periodical training of company's Fire Department continues, involving first-aid, fire fighting, chemical emergency, rescue and evacuation, among other topics addressed along the year.

In a constant effort to update and find new alternatives to ensure the quality of our products and services, Plaszom Flexography team attended a meeting last March gathering the leading Pre-printing input suppliers. This meeting was driven by the exchange of ideas, sharing needs and solutions, directly impacting the provision of products of higher quality and performance to our customers.
In June 20, training was held involving female associates from die finishing area. Delivered by the social and training area, the training was intended to instruct associates on how to improve the household budget, as well as to improve their commitment in professional and personal lives.
