On November 23, 2011, in São Paulo, Plaszom was granted the PPR award offered by Plástico em Revista magazine, one of the top publications in the plastics industry.
The award was received by Plaszom Package Business Director, Mr. Gleb Berger Zomer, in category “TOP TRANSFORMADOR, Excellence in Bag and Sack Manufacturing”.
Plaszom Zomer Indústria de Plasticos Ltda introduces the new Vacuum Coffee Packages. In the development of this product PET/IMP/AD/AL/AD/PE aluminum structures were replaced with PET/IMP/AD/PETmet/AD/PE structure. This new structure ensures the same shelf life as the regular structure (work already confirmed by Terphane and CETEA), a growth of up to 8% in product may be achieved depending on the customer as well as a more suitable cost. The chief difference relies on the machine, as in some cases it requires adjustment/changes (already developed and approved by Plaszom) so that film performance matches Aluminum structure performance.
